Solution Architect
Role Description;
Oran Inc is seeking a hands-on technical leader in development of solutions for our proposals and/or federal client solutions. The Solutions Architect will analyze requirements and the development of creative solutions for all proposal investments, which includes the development of win themes, discriminators, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities: 
Develop fully compliant and outstanding technical solutions for RFP responses by analyzing IT requirements and proposing creative methodologies and cost-effective technical design specifications.
Develop and write significant portions of a technical response to an RFP, to include developing diagrams, architectures, and staffing solutions.

Implement proven processes and procedures for staff guidance in the life cycle in responding to technical sections of RFP's.

Attend pre-RFP meetings with team members and answer general technical questions about a potential solution to a client problem.
Be able to fully understand and effectively articulate RFP and potential client requirements as described in the RFP or Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Analyze and identify the best technical solution among all possible to solve business needs.
Design, document and communicate plans for Cloud deployment and migrations, including analysis for risks, cost and strategies.

Requirements:
  • Forward thinking, IT leader having deep knowledge of IT trends and ability to devise solutions to address both current and future client needs through innovative use proven emerging technologies.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand RFP scope of work and customer requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and writing with strong Microsoft, SharePoint, and Visio skills
  • Must be willing to provide a sample of technical writing competency.


Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in designing and deploying solutions for Cloud environments, preferably in a government or contractor managed context.
  • AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure experience.
  • Designing IT infrastructure in on-prem and cloud environments for complex distributed systems.
  • Engineering and software architecture design for ETL, databases and web services and applications.
  • Business analysis.
  • Project and product management.
  • Agile/scrum/DevOps experience.


Preferred qualifications:
Program Management experience
Certified Scum Master
Cloud certification(s)
Education and Clearance:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10+ years of verifiable and successful experience in a federal IT technical role.
