PowerApps Platform Engineer-Clearance Required

PowerApps Platform Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Apps environments.

  • Deliver services and solutions using the Power Platform suite with Azure Integrations: Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power Automate, AI builder, SharePoint, Dynamics, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations.

  • Manage Environments, Configurations, Security, Integrations and Deployments

  • Maintain Dataverse

  • Create Custom components and connectors.

  • Provide architecture designs, configurations, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.

  • Identify new areas and business processes where O365 power platform can be leveraged and facilitate continual process improvements.

  • Standardize and optimize the ways data is stored and retrieved.

  • Create and maintain documentation for the environment and solutions.

  • Provide daily production system support and user support.

  • Support and cultivate the Power Platform user community.

  • Develop and delivery of user training.

  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal team members.

  • Monitor platform usage, performance, and availability, and troubleshoot issues as needed.

  • Act as the primary system administrator for the SaaS/PaaS environment, supporting over 8000 users.

  • Conduct regular system audits, manage data integrations, and collaborate with stakeholders on process improvements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AD, and Azure logic apps and Exchange ecosystem.

  • Strong .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net and front-end technologies

  • Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technologies, technical and business concepts to multiple audiences.

  • Experience in administration and development of reports on Power BI

  • Support SaaS/PaaS Production and development platforms by handling administrative tasks, conducting audits, and managing CRM environment data feeds and integrations.

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of platform upgrades and enhancements.

  • Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to the administration of the PowerApps, Dataverse, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

Requirements:

Essential qualifications:

  • Essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience administering Microsoft DOD Office 365-J Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Apps environments.

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies, preferably with experience using Microsoft Azure.

  • 2+ years of experience as SharePoint site collection administrator and/or SharePoint administrator or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of business systems analysis and troubleshooting experience.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AD, and Azure logic apps and Exchange ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Microsoft certification(s) related to the administration of the Power Platform or Azure.

  • Experience working in a government or defense contracting environment, preferably with knowledge of DoD security requirements.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or C#.

Skills and abilities:

  • Proficiency in administering and configuring Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Apps.
