Oran Inc. is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to support a federal modernization initiative focused on transforming legacy applications into scalable, cloud-ready solutions. This role involves full-stack development, API engineering, and modernization of enterprise systems within a highly collaborative Agile environment.

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core
Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Support application modernization efforts, including migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core/.NET 8
Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas in SQL Server
Integrate applications with internal and external systems via service clients and APIs
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing practices
Ensure code quality through unit testing, static code analysis, and adherence to best practices
Minimum 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET ecosystem (.NET Framework through .NET 8)
Experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and service-based architectures
Front-end experience with Angular or AngularJS, including TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX
Experience with modern UI frameworks/libraries such as React, Bootstrap, Telerik UI, or Kendo UI
Strong expertise in SQL Server, including:
Complex T-SQL queries
Stored procedures
Database design & performance tuning
Experience with database schema design, migrations, and data integrity practices
Proven experience in modernizing legacy applications
Experience working in Agile or SAFe Scrum environments
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git (Bitbucket/GitLab)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Jenkins preferred)
Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, Jasmine) and peer code reviews
Familiarity with static code analysis tools (SonarQube/Sonar)
Working knowledge of Docker/containerization
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain or hold a USDA Public Trust Clearance
Experience with DevSecOps practices and security tools (Fortify, BlackDuck, Prisma Defender)
Prior experience supporting federal or DoD environments (USDA, USAF, USN, etc.)
Experience with IIS configuration and deployment
Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or Hibernate
Exposure to ETL processes and data integration tools
Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with AWS cloud services or AWS certification
Experience with LDAP / Active Directory integration
Experience with SSIS packages and SQL Server job scheduling
Familiarity with artifact repositories (Nexus)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
Experience mentoring or guiding junior developers
